Grand in both scale and content, Ocean Park in Hong Kong is an example of how well all projects are implemented here. The park, opened in 1977, covers an area of more than 850 thousand square meters; it is the largest complex of its kind in all of Southeast Asia.
On the grounds of Ocean Park there is a zoo, an aquarium, many attractions for children and adults, and even a dolphinarium. In the zoo you will see many amusing, fierce, and simply interesting animals. At the giant aquariums you can observe the amazing diversity of underwater fauna – from small fish to fearsome sharks.
Separately, you can visit the Bird Theater with parrots, aviaries with exotic birds in fantastic colors, the Butterfly House, and the Goldfish Pagoda. Do not miss the chance to see real pandas; there are two of them here – An An and Jia Jia. They have long become favorites of the public, and pandas in China and Hong Kong are generally highly revered and loved, so they receive special attention. Among the other interesting exhibits, it is worth noting the attraction with dinosaurs made very realistically.
