Do you remember the fluffy dragon with a dog's face from the film «The NeverEnding Story»? Surely, everyone who watched this movie dreamed of flying on this shaggy beast. Now it lives at Bavaria-Film Studio, and visitors can not only see it “in person,” but also sit on its neck, imagining themselves as the hero of that very tale.
In addition, here you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Gallic village of Obelix and Asterix, wander through the mock-up of a submarine that was once used as a set for the film «Das Boot», and also see with your own eyes how scenes with moving cars used to be filmed.
Visitors to the film studio are allowed to try on superhero costumes, watch a stunt show, and also visit the set of the TV series «Marienhof», popular in Germany.
By the way, it was here that the still young Alfred Hitchcock took his first steps in the film industry. At first he drew title cards, but then he was promoted to screenwriter, and a few years later his first film - «The Pleasure Garden» - was released at this studio. Who knows, maybe this is where you too will come up with the idea for a brilliant film? ;)
Tours of the film studio are conducted in two languages: German and English. Whatever you choose - a tour, a 4D film screening, or a visit to Bullyversum - in any case, you are guaranteed to enjoy the experience!
