Cafe «Kompot» is not the only establishment in Odessa with this name: it is an entire chain of five cafes located on Deribasovskaya and Panteleimonovskaya Streets, Admiralteysky Prospekt, at the Morskoy Vokzal and in the Riviera shopping and entertainment center in the village of Fontanka, not far from Odessa's most densely populated district, the Kotovsky settlement.
The main idea of the founders of the Cafe «Kompot» chain is to evoke nostalgic memories in every visitor who is susceptible to it: the name of every dish on the menu will be familiar to everyone, even a child.
