A small bust of a man with a lorgnette, installed on the roof of one of the houses on Pikk Street, is easy to miss altogether. However, if you do notice it, you will learn a very curious urban legend.
They say that once, long ago, a rather elderly man lived in this building. And as his wife he took, on the contrary, a young and very attractive woman. And so every time she went somewhere away from home, the husband was beside himself with jealousy and often leaned as far out of the window as possible to keep an eye on his beloved - where she was going, whom she was talking to, whether she was cheating on him with anyone at all?
Alas, such surveillance ended quite badly - one day the jealous husband simply fell out of the window. And the bust in this place seems to have been installed as a lesson that you need to trust your significant others!
