The Milan restaurant Clandestino is located in the building of the designer hotel Maison Moschino, at Via Monte Grappa, 12.
The chef at this restaurant is the holder of two Michelin stars, Moreno Cedroni, who is widely known for his experimental approach to the "Italianization" of national dishes from other peoples. Thus, in the sushi he invented, the familiar Japanese ingredients - wasabi and seaweed - have been replaced with traditionally Italian olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and aromatic herbs. It is also worth noting that his dishes look very unusual - they resemble an orchid, lavender, or a daisy. And a white rose, for example, is composed of cod, Jerusalem artichoke, mustard seeds, fennel, and cardamom.
Breakfast at restaurant Clandestino is also highly original. It is called Mos Kit and is served on a tray shaped like a shoe box. Guests are offered combinations of 4, 6, or 8 creative fantasy creations, which always include freshly baked bread, tea, and coffee.
In addition, the chef offers all visitors a chance to taste a wide variety of exotic sweets, such as Thai ice cream, pineapple soup, Baileys ice cream, wild berry pie, and much more.
