This museum is located in the very center of Barcelona, on La Rambla boulevard. More than 800 exhibits are displayed here, including archaeological finds, frescoes, cult objects, paintings and drawings by famous artists (Picasso and Miro), as well as various erotic outfits and accessories, including sadomasochistic ones.
Curiously, the ticket price includes a drink (apparently a cooling one). There are also tours for the blind held here, during which visitors are allowed to touch the exhibits.
A separate exhibition of the erotic museum is devoted to the history of phone sex. Visitors can also see what ancient chastity belts, lingams, and even mechanical devices for self-pleasure looked like. The collections of drawings also make it possible to trace how erotic motifs changed in the culture of different countries.
At the entrance to the museum, a figure depicting “manhood” immediately attracts attention. It is made of wood and reaches the height of a person. Visitors can touch the exhibit, but not many dare. Next comes a collection of erotic pictures from the Kama Sutra, then Japanese illustrations, then Greek ones, and so on. In addition, here you can also watch the first erotic films, which were made back in the 1930s.
