The creator of this panorama is the Iranian artist Yadegar Azizi. In the 80s of the last century, he spent quite a lot of time in the city divided by the wall and experienced firsthand all the hardships of one of the darkest pages in Germany's history.
His new work - the Panorama of Divided Berlin - is a cylinder that, once you step inside, will place you in the western part of the city. A visit to this somewhat gloomy but truthful place will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Berlin of those times, feel the impact of the wall on the life of the city, and also sense how, because of the wall, it was split into two different worlds: the East, filled with street artists, American brands, and a certain measure of freedom, and the West with its strict border, military presence, and pervasive control. The corresponding sound accompaniment complements the already impressive picture.
