At the Nehru Cultural Centre, you can visit a museum dedicated to the history and culture of India, an art gallery, a library, and scientific laboratories. Performances, scientific and cultural seminars, and lectures are constantly held in the local concert hall. In the Cultural Wing of the center, you will be shown such important aspects of Indian culture as dance and folk music, and they will be explained to you in detail.
The greatest interest among visitors is aroused by the modern Nehru Planetarium and the astronomical educational center attached to it. Several years ago, a powerful Digistar 3 projector was installed in the planetarium, projecting changing images of the starry sky onto the domed ceiling.
Incredible detail and image quality create the effect of flying among the stars: it seems that if you reach out your hand, you will be able to touch a planet. The planetarium shows the fascinating program "Cosmic Journey and Celestial Wonders" daily in different languages of the world; the show in English is at 15:00.
It is also worth noting the magnificent architecture of the Nehru Cultural Centre. Its snow-white openwork tower rises above the perfect lawns and flowerbeds of the surrounding park.
