Kamala Beach, one of the most popular in Phuket, is located on the western coast of the island 20 kilometers from Phuket Town. The beach's appeal is due to the absence of roads nearby and the opportunity to relax peacefully, without noise and exhaust fumes. In total, the beach stretches along the coast for one and a half kilometers.

Most tourists relax in the central part of the beach, where the infrastructure is very well developed. It is always crowded here, and all kinds of entertainment are at your service - jet skis and water skis, massage parlors, restaurants, bars and cafes, volleyball and badminton.

The northern part of the beach is quieter and not very developed, so those who need nothing more than golden sand, a clean sea, and warm sunshine prefer to come here.

The main attraction of the beach is the Phuket FantaSea show, a grand theatrical performance featuring hundreds of actors and dozens of elephants. The plot of the show is based on an ancient legend about Prince Kamala. Over the course of an hour and a half, you will see breathtaking special effects, stunts performed by talented acrobats, and fiery dances. Since 1998, the Phuket FantaSea show has delighted audiences who come from all over the country to see the magical performance.

Without a doubt, Patong Beach remains the most popular beach in Phuket: you only need to arrive and see the crowds of cheerful tourists to see this for yourself. The beach is very crowded, since it offers its visitors the full range of all kinds of entertainment.

This is Phuket's main party spot - with clubs of various kinds, shopping centers, massage parlors, bars, restaurants, and other attributes of Thai resort life. For lovers of active recreation, there are water skiing, yacht rentals, diving, fishing, and beach volleyball.

Its proximity to the island's capital, Phuket Town, provides access to extensive entertainment and shopping infrastructure. In the center of Patong you can find the Jungceylon shopping center, where you can buy almost anything.

Many come to Patong Beach, but because of the entertainment they do not even have time to swim or sunbathe. By the way, the sand here is wonderful, and the sea, although not the cleanest in Phuket, is quite decent.

Night brings noise and fun to the beach area. Very close by is the famous Bangla Road, which turns into a firework display of lights after dark. In the many night bars and adult clubs, crowds of thousands of tourists party until the very morning.

Karon Beach is one of the largest and most popular beaches in Phuket. It stretches for about 6 kilometers, with a coastal highway running along the beach; on the other side lies a continuous row of hotels, cafes, restaurants, and massage parlors.

Karon is considered a very clean, well-kept, and beautiful beach, loved both by young people and by families with children. The reason tourists love Karon Beach is its snow-white, fine, perfectly clean sand and the sea of an incredible turquoise shade with whitecaps on the waves. Because of the high quartz content in the beach sand, it produces a melodious crunch underfoot. For this, locals call Karon the 'singing beach'.

On the southern side of the beach there is a small but very beautiful coral reef with bright tropical fish and various species of plants. This part of the beach is extremely popular with those who are into diving or snorkeling. A little farther from the shore, surfers ride the waves.

Surfers, divers, and other vacationers should take into account that in summer 'rip currents' arise at Karon, pulling even strong swimmers out to sea. They are marked with red flags, so if you see a flag sticking out of the water, it is better to keep away from it.

One of the most popular beaches in Phuket is Kata Beach, which is located approximately 20 kilometers from Phuket Town, between Karon and Nai Harn beaches.

A distinctive feature of Kata can be considered its relatively calm atmosphere, unlike, for example, Patong. Families with children and people who value serene relaxation, free of excessive activity, prefer to vacation here.

Many say that the Kata Beach area has the cleanest sea and the whitest sand. Green hills spread around, pleasing the eye. On the shore there are many small cafes and vendors offering simple and unobtrusive dishes of local and European cuisine. Along the entire coast, Thai massage sessions are available under canopies.

The northern part of the beach serves as a parking area for fishing boats, and because of that, as well as the large number of boulders, it is quite deserted here, so you can spend some time in complete solitude if you wish.

500 meters from the shore is the small rocky islet of Pu; you can easily swim to it, though it is uninhabited and serves only as a decorative adornment.

The sea in this area is shallow and safe: to fully immerse yourself and swim properly, you need to go at least 50 meters from the shore. This is another reason why families with children often come here.

This viewpoint is one of the most visited in Phuket and offers a magnificent view of three of the island's most beautiful beaches - Karon, Kata, and Kata Noi. Apparently, because there are so many things to look at, the authorities just cannot settle on a final name for the viewpoint, having changed it more than once already.

This place has been called both Kata Viewpoint and Karon Viewpoint - the latter name is now written on the official sign. Meanwhile, the locals do not reinvent the wheel and have long used one name: Khao Saam Had, which translates as 'Mountain of Three Beaches'.

At different elevations on the viewpoint there are two large beautiful pavilions surrounded by benches. Both observation points offer прекрасные views of bays with white beaches, the boundless azure sea, and the emerald greenery of coastal tropical forests. In the distance, beyond the curves of Phuket's coastline, Crab Island - Ko Pu can be seen.

Near the viewpoint there are several cafes and restaurants offering Thai and international cuisine. What could be better than combining a delicious lunch with contemplation of the beauty of exotic nature from a bird's-eye view?

During the daytime, local vendors offer handmade souvenirs at the viewpoint. Stalls selling soft drinks and traditional fast food also operate here.
