The cocktail bar 'Sky Bar,' famous far beyond Asia, is located at a dizzying height. It occupies the 63rd floor of State Tower - one of the tallest skyscrapers in Southeast Asia. The New York Times describes this venue as "the most stunning rooftop bar you will ever see."
At a height of 250 meters, there is an open space with small tables and beautiful lighting. The island-shaped bar counter is located almost at the very edge of the roof and glows with shimmering lights against the background of the twinkling lights of Bangkok below. The color of the bar counter changes every 90 seconds, casting pastel reflections on the white tablecloths and transparent railings of the bar. On the other side of the bar area is the golden dome of State Tower.
Several bartenders work behind the counter at once, mastering the art of mixing and serving the world's finest cocktails. This extravagant venue caught the attention of Ron Ramirez, a renowned bartender and creator of many unique cocktails. He agreed to create signature drink recipes for 'Sky Bar.' In particular, here you can order the Hangovertini, invented by the bartender especially for the film crew of "The Hangover 2," which was filmed in Bangkok.
To visit the bar or restaurant, you must follow a formal 'casual' dress code: for men, this means closed shoes, a shirt, and trousers, not shorts and a T-shirt.
Only light snacks are served at 'Sky Bar.' For a more substantial meal, it is worth visiting the neighboring Mediterranean restaurant Sirocco - the world's largest open-air restaurant, which has received numerous international awards, prizes, and titles for its achievements.
