Millenaris Park is the former site of the Ganz factory, which once produced electrical goods. Now there are green lawns, flower beds and trees all around, a children's playground, a small pond, and many benches. This place is also often used for concerts or exhibitions.
For children, many different swings, playhouses and, of course, a sandbox have been installed here. From time to time, performances are held in the park. Parents gladly bring their little ones here, so it is always fun and noisy around. You can walk to the bridge over the pond and watch the big fish darting back and forth under the water, waiting for bread crumbs. If there are no treats for them, you can look into the nearest cafe and have a bite there as well.
Gastronomic fairs are often held in the pavilions inside the park, where you can buy products from local producers and also watch culinary shows. Admission to such events is usually paid, but only for adults. Children under 12 are admitted free. Separate workshops on making various crafts are arranged for them. Meanwhile, adults can indulge themselves by tasting cheeses, sausages, jam, honey, chocolate, and other delicacies.
