The year-round dolphinarium “Nemo” opened in Odessa on International Children's Day in 2005. This became an event of national significance: “Nemo” is the only dolphinarium in Ukraine that operates year-round, and at the same time the largest dolphinarium in the CIS, built to international standards as well. Its opening gave rise to the International Commonwealth of Dolphinariums “Nemo” not only in Ukraine, but also in Russia and Belarus.
“Nemo” is part of the cultural and educational complex of the same name, located on the new promenade of Odessa's oldest beach, “Lanzheron”. The complex also includes a hotel, a number of restaurants, an oceanarium and a dolphin therapy center.
Dolphinarium “Nemo” offers its guests shows every day except Monday, a special program on weekends and holidays, as well as romantic shows every Saturday. In the oceanarium, you can see freshwater, sea and ocean inhabitants, take photos with the dolphinarium's animals, and even practice diving.
