This cozy little restaurant is located near the “Santa Marina” hotel. The interior is decorated in the traditional Venetian style: panels made of natural wood, elegant and very comfortable furniture, snow-white tablecloths, floors made of stone slabs. Helpful waiters will tell you right at the entrance about the special offer available today. If you want to try something special, gourmets recommend the black pasta with squid, as well as a dish of raw shellfish and pasta with cuttlefish ink alla busara (“busara” is the earthenware that used to be used to prepare these dishes, and it is also the name of a special sauce). Raw fish and seafood are generally very popular here. Freshly caught shrimp, for example, are in no way comparable to boiled ones.
For dessert, pay attention to the lemon sorbet with a touch of licorice and the Gorgonzola cheese parfait with candied orange peel. Those who want to try several masterpieces of Venetian cuisine at once will be offered a tasting menu at the restaurant: for 75 euros, you will be able to sample 8 dishes at once.
In hot weather, restaurant guests can sit in the air-conditioned dining rooms, and there is also an opportunity to dine on the open terrace in a romantic candlelit setting.
