«Klarabara» is a true restaurant masterpiece right in the very center of the city — the Gorodskoy Sad on Deribasovskaya is nearby.
The place is quite small, but very popular. Its fame has long since spread even beyond the borders of Odessa itself. Drop in at least to take a look at the menu! Baked pork ribs with cherry sauce, a quarter of “Odessa-style chicken,” squid with saffron rice, a clever salad with honey mushrooms, eggplant caviar, poppy seed roll, apple strudel…
But now you are inside the restaurant… No, you are in the home of an incredibly hospitable family, where every guest is special. Klara and Vladimir Bulgakov, the owners of this establishment (as well as the apartments next to it), managed to create a truly family-like, homely atmosphere. They can often be found sitting at a table, surrounded by friends and acquaintances, intently listening to all sorts of stories and anecdotes.
The restaurant’s interior leaves only pleasant impressions: the facade of an old building entwined with grapevines, well-kept grounds, rose bushes, small, elegant statues… Well then, see you at «Klarabara»! There is wonderful cuisine, excellent wine, and a unique atmosphere here.
