At present, in Odessa, "UMKA" is the only ice skating club-rink. Ice for the residents and guests of Southern Palmyra is a hard-to-achieve dream even in winter, and in summer it is a real miracle!
The size of the ice field is just over 20 by 40 meters. The rink is built on compacted soil. A special refrigeration unit is responsible for the quality of the ice surface.
There is also a mini-bar on the rink grounds for guests and, of course, comfortable changing rooms.
It is said that at the grand opening ceremony of the ice club-rink, world figure skating champion Viktor Petrenko and Olympic medalists Ruslan Goncharov and Elena Grushina performed. From the very moment it opened, "UMKA" became a favorite leisure spot for many. And this is not surprising, because any rink is not only a pleasant but also a healthy way to spend time. Parents with children, couples in love, groups of friends - the ice leaves no one indifferent!
