Besides tulips, Holland has something else distinctive and no less attractive for tourists - beer! Amsterdam is the birthplace of the world-famous Heineken beer. From 1864 to the present day, this company has grown from Gerard Adriaan Heineken's small brewery into one of the largest in the world. It owns more than 130 breweries in 65 countries, more than 170 beer brands, and employs about 65000 people. Impressive, isn't it?
Heineken even has its own museum, not far from Leidseplein. Beer lovers simply must visit it. It is located in the old workshop where Heineken beer was actually bottled in the past.
In this museum, you will have the opportunity to touch the history of beer creation by taking a close look at the technology of its production. Also, for a small fee, you can taste a freshly brewed hoppy drink. You will be taught how to properly pour and drink beer, and all of this takes place in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.
An обязательным пунктом визита является просмотр увлекательного 3D-фильма о технологии приготовления пива и множества забавных роликов, которые в разные годы снимались для рекламы Хайнекен.
