In the collection of the foundation, named after the magnate Francisco Daurel, you can find a wonderful collection of works by Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, and Joan Miro. This exhibition appeared thanks to Daurel's genuine passion for Spanish art. Initially, he invested his own funds in purchasing works by famous artists, after which, having assembled about 300 pieces, he decided to establish his own foundation. What is important is that visiting this collection is open to everyone. Just don't forget to buy a ticket to the "Spanish Village," on whose grounds the Foundation is located.
Alongside the widely known names of artists, works by the still-active Catalan classics Miquel Barcelo and Antoni Tapies are also presented here. Also of interest is a sculptural ensemble of 27 architectural structures created by young Spanish sculptors. According to Daurel's idea, this composition, installed near the Foundation building, emphasizes the museum's main philosophical idea.
