Some time ago, Palazzo Dugnani was considered the largest building in Milan. Times have changed, and today completely different structures top this ranking; however, the famous palace still continues to draw the attention of residents and visitors to the northern capital of Italy.
Besides its size, this architectural landmark is also famous for its unconventional, highly elegant appearance. A small tower especially draws attention; in former times it served as an observation deck. It is worth admitting that it was more of a decorative structure, since the height to which it rises is not very great. Nevertheless, every noble family of the 17th century considered it a great honor to admire the panorama of Milan from this tower.
In the last century, Dugnani Palace passed into municipal ownership, and now various non-commercial events are often held here. You can visit one of them or appreciate all the splendor of the palazzo at least from the outside - simply find Via Manin in Milan and walk past this building; it is hardly possible not to notice it.
