Gulhane Park is located in the Sultanahmet district and adjoins the Istanbul Archaeological Museum and Topkapi Palace. During the Ottoman Empire, Gulhane served as a garden where roses were grown for the sultan's palace. This is where the park's name came from, since Gulhane literally translates as "house of roses".
Unfortunately, the fire of 1863 did not spare this beautiful place. It was followed by years of neglect and gradual desolation. But at the beginning of the 21st century, the situation changed - the park was restored, renovated, and regained its former grandeur and beauty.

Gulhane, with its beautiful flower beds, gazebos coyly hidden among the greenery, terraces with amazing views, cozy cafes, and fountains, offers visitors everything they need for a calm and peaceful отдых away from the noise and bustle of the metropolis.
It is especially pleasant to take shelter in the park during the midday heat in summer - in the shade of elms, plane trees, and oaks. In autumn, the park lives in ожидании winter: the air is clean, and the yellowed trees are solemnly sad. In spring, the entire park area becomes almost a continuous multicolored blanket - the tulips are in bloom! Perhaps this is the best time for photo shoots in Gulhane Park :)
