For more than 40 years, the restaurant “Alla Rampa” has been considered one of Rome's gastronomic landmarks. It is located between the famous figure-eight staircase at Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Mignanelli.
The restaurant's menu offers visitors dishes of ancient Roman cuisine, as well as exquisite delicacies from the Mediterranean. In addition to the main menu, there are buffet appetizers that are popular all over the world. If you want to try something special, pay attention to ravioli with fresh fish, Linguine with snails, or the Pinturicchio beef steak with Vol au Vent sauce and mushrooms.
We help you plan a trip to Rome – Travel Planner and Guide for iPhone or Android – hundreds of attractions, ready-made walking routes, the ability to create your own routes, an offline map, and GPS. Everything you need for an interesting trip.
“Alla Rampa” has 3 areas: an open terrace, where it is pleasant to relax in the shade on a hot day, as well as two indoor halls with original interiors. One of them is called “Ancient Rome” - it is decorated with wine barrels, shuttered windows, balconies, and even a clothesline strung up, which makes it feel as if you are in the middle of an ancient quarter. The second - “Collection Hall” - contains collections of antique plates and mugs, painted drapes, old tablecloths, corkscrews, copper cauldrons, and antique vases. On one of the walls you can even see ancient Roman stenography.
