A magnificent panorama of one of the world's most beautiful cities opens up from the third-largest Ferris wheel in the world. The London Eye, which became one of the symbols of the capital of Great Britain in the new millennium, was built specifically to celebrate the Millennium and at that time became the tallest attraction of its kind.
Once you reach the very top, you will find yourself at a height of 135 meters, roughly the level of the 45th floor. All of London will spread out before you as if in the palm of your hand, and in clear weather even the areas around the capital will be visible. And what delight the view of the majestic Westminster Palace, the bridge of the same name, and Big Ben right at your feet inspires!
All the old quarters of London, with their exquisite architecture and world-famous buildings, can be seen through the transparent walls of the Ferris wheel cabins. By the way, the number of cabins on the London Eye is symbolic - there are 32 of them, matching the number of the capital's districts, known as boroughs.
The cabins are made in the form of transparent rounded capsules, each of which holds about 25 passengers, and up to 800 people can ride the wheel at the same time. The London Eye takes 30 minutes to complete a rotation, during which magical views of the huge city from varying heights will unfold before you. You will surely have enough time to take everything in, because the wheel moves quite slowly.
