The Palace of the Republic in Minsk opened in 1997. At the same time, the project had been developed back in the 1970s-80s, and the final commissioning of the building took place in 2001. By now, this complex has become the largest and most modern cultural and educational center in Belarus.
The huge multi-story building of the Palace of the Republic, located on October Square, houses two auditoriums with 2700 and 500 seats, conference halls, a super-modern 3D cinema, a reception hall, a press center, and other functional spaces. In addition, there is a cafe-bar and a billiards complex with 8 tables.
Excellent technical equipment and well-thought-out ergonomics make the Palace of the Republic the best concert venue in the country. Famous artists from Belarus and from neighboring and distant countries perform here regularly. Symphony music concerts are also held here, along with festive and ceremonial events.
