On the lower level of Olimp Park there is a unique petting zoo, “Zov Dzhungley.” It stands out because here you can touch, pet, and feed the animals. Many kinds of animals that in other zoos can only be seen through the bars of a cage roam completely freely here or stay in enclosures where they can still be petted. Animal feed can be bought here as well.
Fluffy rabbits and curly lambs hop right along the paths, happily approach people, and take food from their hands. A cute little donkey with sad eyes brays joyfully at the sight of a carrot, and the goats may quite brazenly chew on your T-shirt, so be careful when they come near.
In addition to domestic animals, there are also more exotic species here. Magnificent peacocks stroll about grandly, shaking their lush tails, noisy budgerigars and bright tropical macaws peck seeds right from your hands. Pelicans with huge beaks fly in low sweeps like fighter jets, while iguanas that look like mini-dragons search for grasshoppers as they wander around at your feet.
Many visitors linger for a long time by the monkey enclosure, especially when they have babies. But the undeniable favorites of the petting zoo are the raccoons. These cute and funny animals happily greet guests, beg them for cookies, and rinse them with their almost human paws in basins of water to amuse the visitors.
