The Cultural Center “Stary Park” is called a gallery of civilizations. It is one of the most beautiful places on the coast, combining the beauty of nature, humanity's cultural heritage, and the astonishing talent of the sculptor and creator of the park, Aleksandr Alekseev.
Representatives of the most fascinating eras and the most outstanding cultures coexist on the park grounds. Next to the Egyptian pyramids stands the ancient Temple of Zeus, behind the refined Gothic fountain one can see a house in the Art Nouveau style, and the Indian fountain with elephants coexists beautifully with a traditional Japanese house. An Orthodox chapel and the House of the East, repeating the shape of a classical mosque, look absolutely harmonious just a few dozen meters apart.
The architectural park has given life not only to miniature copies of famous temples and traditional buildings, but also to dozens of magnificent statues. Greek gods and Egyptian sphinxes live here, medieval monsters and Gothic gargoyles, the cunning Mephistopheles coexists with saints and angels, and Japanese gods are friends with Indian deities.
All this sculptural and architectural beauty is surrounded by the luxurious greenery of the seaside region and an entire system of ponds, fountains, and little waterfalls. Water for irrigating flowerbeds and trees is supplied with the help of another masterpiece - a picturesque aqueduct, just like those built in Ancient Rome.
