Over thousands of years, the Zhane River has carved real stone masterpieces out of its riverbed. The waters of the mountain river have formed stunning patterns in the rocks - here there is a sheer cliff resembling an ancient castle, canyon walls spreading in graceful curves, and a riverbed reminiscent of fabric drapery. The river itself is not very large, and in summer, when the spring high water ends, you can walk прямо along its bed.

On the way to the next waterfalls are the dolmens of the Zhane River, built by highlanders in the III-II millennium BC. Dolmens are credited with magical properties, but even those who do not believe in magic are enchanted by their primitive beauty and antiquity.
After passing the dolmens, you will reach the most famous waterfalls on the Zhane River. The triple waterfall with bowls, stone ridges, and sculpted rocks also has pools where you can cool off after an hour-long walk.
This is usually where group excursions end, but those who wish can climb even higher to reach the most beautiful and largest waterfalls. True, the hike there will take several hours and require scrambling over rocks, but if you have comfortable shoes and love walking through forests and mountains, your well-deserved reward will be fairy-tale views of ancient cliffs, ten-meter waterfalls, and the beauty of the local nature.
