Pure art, folk hand-made, collections of various vintage objects, concerts and performances - all of this is concentrated in one of the quarters of Nizhny Novgorod, which proudly bears the status of an art gallery called "Kladovka".
This cultural and social project opened relatively recently, in 2007. In a short time, the art gallery won the love of admirers, and quite a few artists, musicians, writers, and other creative personalities have passed through it. Exhibitions are regularly held here, attracting attention with their unusualness and originality.
One of the halls is an exhibition of touching and sometimes strange art objects created by the hands of Nizhny Novgorod residents themselves. Here you can see items made of different materials: metal, plastic, leather, ceramics. What unites them is sincerity and the authors' striving for self-expression.
In another hall there is a fairly large collection of vinyl records, which you can listen to, and even buy something for your own collection if you like.
The courtyard of the art gallery "Kladovka" really does look like a storeroom. Here a heap of old things has been gathered, such as a refrigerator, a television, and furniture, transformed into art objects.
