Having climbed Bergisel mountain, you will see an amazing building designed in a hi-tech style. It is a very modern and progressive museum with interactive elements and installations. It is called the "Tyrol Panorama" and is devoted mainly to the military actions that took place on the territory of Innsbruck in 1809, when Napoleon Bonaparte invaded Tyrol with his army.
The enormous panorama depicts several battle scenes, the details of which can be explored more closely using the special computers located right there. The panorama is complemented by other exhibits related to military affairs: here you will find samples of weapons, uniforms, various statues, and paintings depicting the main heroes of the bloody battles.
The Kaiserjager Museum is part of the Tyrol Panorama, a "museum within a museum," which can be reached through an underground passage. Here you will be invited to ознакомиться with the history of military science of the 18th-19th centuries.
In the museum complex, you can also see other thematic exhibitions that comprehensively illustrate the centuries-old history of Tyrol. They are also interactive, with much attention paid to nature, religion, and the political life of society in the western lands of Austria.
