We ourselves have traveled to dozens of cities and countries around the world and understand perfectly well what it is like to spend a long time preparing for a visit to an unfamiliar city. We searched, thought, and sketched a lot and finally found a simple and effective solution to this problem. That is how the EverTravel travel planner appeared - a service that really makes organizing trips convenient. Using the web version, on the large screen of a computer or laptop you can choose what and when you want to see, and then synchronize your plans with the EverTravel mobile app for smartphones. In the end, you get a personal city guide that will not take up extra space in your luggage. Convenient, isn't it?

Right now, on EverTravel you will find dozens of cities around the world, hundreds of ready-made walking routes, and thousands of interesting and unique places. You really do need to register on the EverTravel website, and here's why: remember we told you that a ready-made trip plan can be synchronized with the mobile app? Well, for the system to understand which route to show to whom, it is important that you log in with the same account on both the website and your smartphone.

There is nothing complicated about registration: name, email, password, confirmation via the link in the email. A standard procedure, less than a minute. There is an even faster option - authorization through your Facebook or ВКонтакте profile. Also a perfectly ordinary thing. We promise not to spam you and not to post any messages on your behalf without permission. We absolutely hate that ourselves :)

Have you already decided where you are going? Enter the name of that city in the "Create a trip" section.

Now the most interesting part begins! An interactive map opens before you, with dozens of sights already marked on it. First, let's specify the length of your trip. In the upper left corner there is a field with the number of days; add as many as you need: 2, 3, 5... This will help "distribute" places across several days of the trip. On the first, for example, you can stroll through the historic center, on the second head to the museum quarter, on the third go to the beach or shopping, and so on. This is especially convenient when planning with the map - you can immediately choose places that are close to one another.

See the pins with dots? This means that several sights are concentrated in that place at once. Click them and the map will zoom in. Reached the pin with the picture? Click it! A photo, a short description, and opening hours appear. Is the place interesting? Click "add to trip plan".

Please note: the place you selected will be saved to the day page that is currently open. Don't want to combine the zoo and the planetarium in one day - simply "flip" to the day that is convenient for you. And keep planning, the system will build the route from one point to another on its own.

Important! Don't forget to click the "Save trip" button from time to time!

Keep in mind that, if you want, you can easily swap the selected places around.

For those who do not find choosing from the map very convenient, there is the "All sights" section - it has all the same things, but in a list. Moreover, you can use a filter, leaving only the most important places or arranging them by significance.

The "All routes" section is simply indispensable for those who do not like planning anything at all: here you will find ready-made solutions - walking tours through the very best city sights. They can also be "distributed" across several days of the trip.

It seems you have selected everything you found interesting? Now go to the "Trip plan" subsection and there you will see everything you saved. The system itself has built the route between the places you added.

The route may not always turn out logical, especially if you added places not from the map but from the list. That is not a problem; you can "drag" them around, swapping their places, or remove them from the plans if you changed your mind about going there.

And now for the nicest part! See the two buttons in the upper right, "Invite friends" and "Publish trip"? They are there so that your friends, colleagues, relatives, or acquaintances can suggest what else interesting is worth seeing where you are headed.

If you are planning a trip for several people, feel free to click the "Invite friends" button. With its help, you can send a personal invitation on Facebook, by email, or copy a link to send through any messenger convenient for you. By inviting someone this way, you open up the ability for that person to comment and edit. Now this person is not only an adviser, but also a full-fledged administrator of your trip, who can add new days, places, and routes to the plan. This option is very convenient if you are going on a trip with your other half, friends, or relatives.

The second button, "Publish trip," will let you share your plans with your Facebook friends. With your permission, a message will appear on your personal page in the social network inviting friends to comment on your plans. Surely some of your acquaintances have already been to the places you are going to and will be able to suggest what else is worth seeing. With this method of inviting, friends can only comment, not edit the trip.

As they say, one head is good, but two is a mutant :) But with travel things are different: sharing experience in this area is especially easy, pleasant, and useful!

After you have thought everything through, do not forget to click the "Save trip" button. Now it is time to download the free EverTravel mobile app. Download it and sign in there using the same email or social media profile you used to log in to the website. After that, the mobile app will automatically synchronize with your account in the web version of the service. And voila, all your trips will be on your smartphone! Everything is ready - your personal city guide is always at hand!

Know that at any moment you can find all your trips in your personal account on the EverTravel.me website. It displays both the travel plans that you created yourself and those to which you have been invited. By the way, there you can also add a profile photo and cover, write a couple of words about yourself, and add links to your social media accounts.

Articles that you have read and specially marked in the "Travel ideas" section go into "Favorites." Please note that almost all the materials there can be added not only to "Favorites," but also to the "Trip plan." Many users, by the way, begin their preparations exactly this way: they read an article, get inspired, and then start thinking everything through in more detail :)

Another important section of the personal account is "Balance." We quite often run various promotions thanks to which you can collect piastres - the internal currency of EverTravel, with which audio guides are purchased in the mobile app. However, you can earn piastres without promotions as well; just tell your friends about EverTravel by sending them a special referral link.
