The best place for parties in Innsbruck is the Mausefalle nightclub, located in the southern part of the city. Its name translates from German as "Mousetrap," and not without reason, because it is said that once you come here, you will definitely want to return. But you cannot get into the "Mousetrap" just like that — you absolutely need to reserve a table in advance.
The interior of the venue is quite interesting and unusual — everything is finished in wood, with balconies, stone columns, and a tiled ceiling, almost like in the gloomy Middle Ages. However, the atmosphere here is exactly the opposite — cheerful music plays under the flashing club lights, people happily dance to hits from the 80s and 90s and sip cocktails while chatting with friends, or do all of that at once. Live bands often perform here, mostly local ones. Everyone heads home only at dawn.
The people of Innsbruck never have to wonder where to go for Oktoberfest or Halloween. Everyone heads to Mausefalle, although there is not enough room for everyone here. Various contests and other entertainment events are also held here regularly, so it is never boring.
