Innsbruck is visited by many tourists from different countries. Some are attracted by the picturesque nature of Tyrol, some by the historical sights, and some come here simply to have a good time. The municipality of Innsbruck decided that the problem of finding a good angle could be solved once and for all. Not far from the Hofburg imperial palace, a huge photo frame in the shape of an artistic baguette measuring four by three meters was installed. Behind the installation there is a bench, unobtrusive greenery in the form of neatly trimmed shrubs, and a peaceful urban landscape. The facade of the ancient Hofkirche church also falls into the frame.
Anyone can take a picture, capturing themselves in the format of a postcard with the inscription “Innsbruck”. The landscape, of course, changes depending on the weather, time of day, and season. So you can take several pictures, coming here each time, and create an entire photo album – Innsbruck in snow, in flowers, in the rain, and so on. An original postcard sent from Tyrol will surely delight friends or become an unusual souvenir that will forever preserve warm memories of the trip.
