This attraction is more often called the "Museum of Natural History." It opened in 2007 in the Dongtian Taoism Park and occupies almost 2.5 thousand square meters.
A total of 2 thousand exhibits are displayed here, many of which are unique not only for China, but for the world as a whole. Here, for example, chrysanthemum stone is exhibited - a stone formation from the summit of Wuzhishan's "Five Fingers" mountain, as well as Chinese black wood - rosewood, which lay under water for more than 6 thousand years.
You will see the planet's first flower, which lived 145 million years ago; it was the ancestor of modern flowers, as well as a herbarium, river fossils, and stuffed animals.
It also houses the largest stuffed dinosaur in the world and a unique 9-meter ichthyosaur skeleton. With your own eyes, you will even be able to see dinosaur eggs with embryos. This museum is a treasure trove of mysteries and secrets, so a visit to it will become a vivid part of your excursion program on Hainan Island.
