The river, also called the Amazon of Asia, is formed by the confluence of two sources: one fast and turbulent, and one calm and measured. The difference in the character of these sources is explained by the features of the landscape.
By its size, Wanquan River ranks third in the world, its length is more than 160 kilometers. The name translates as "the river of a thousand sources." The coastal landscapes are breathtaking: coconut palms and cliffs are everywhere.
In the upper reaches, the flow of the water is fast and swift, while in the lower reaches it is calm. The depth of the river is 10 meters, the minimum width is 8, and the maximum is 100 meters.
In the narrow section, excellent conditions for rafting have been created: there are nine very picturesque and interesting rapids to pass through here. Thanks to the fact that it is eternal summer on Hainan Island, you can raft down the river at any time of the year. Thrill-seekers are allowed on the water journey only in life jackets and special rubber footwear.
In addition to rafting, guests here are offered the chance to try themselves in the role of climbers. The descent height is 10 meters, and in some places you can even jump to the foot of the waterfall.
