Unlike an ordinary museum, at the Copernicus Science Centre you can and even should touch the exhibits, conduct experiments, and take part in demonstrations. It is also not at all necessary to follow any particular route; any visitor can head wherever it is more interesting for them. The exhibition of the science centre consists of a huge number of interactive installations, each of which recreates some interesting phenomenon. All of them are divided into six sections.
For example, the section "Roots of Civilization" tells about humanity's main achievements: the telephone, radio receiver, movie camera, etc.. Here you can also take part in archaeological excavations and find out how your name would be written in an ancient symbolic language. And so that you do not forget what this inscription looks like, they can send it to your email address (together with the results of other experiments in which you will take part). And all this is possible thanks to the admission ticket! It looks like a plastic card that can be registered in a special machine by leaving your email there.
In the gallery "World in Motion," visitors can understand how light and sound propagate, feel an earthquake, see what their skeleton looks like on a bicycle, and even create a portrait of Marilyn Monroe from moving bubbles.
All the experiments here are so fascinating and educational that not only children, but adults too, will find them interesting.
