Git-Git Waterfall in Bali, located not far from the city of Singaraja, is one of those rare places in Indonesia that has nothing mythological associated with it. It is simply a very beautiful natural attraction where you can relax and take a walk, enjoying the views of nature and the coolness of the water.
The waters of Git-Git fall down from a height, forming a lake where you can swim. However, the water here is practically icy, so think twice before deciding on such a desperate step.
The cascade of waterfalls is surrounded on all sides by idyllic cottages, mountain slopes, and green fields. There are almost no entertainment shows here, but they would clearly be out of place against the backdrop of wild nature, tropical vegetation, wooden bridges, and green-covered hills. You can spend several hours by the waterfalls, resting amid the freshness of lush greenery and relaxing under the coolness of water droplets.
Locals rarely come here as couples, as it is believed that the waterfall splitting in two symbolizes separation and causes lovers to break up. Although maybe they are just too lazy to get here along the slippery paths. Balinese people are found here mainly as souvenir vendors, who may seem pushy.
