One of the fourteen famous Madame Tussauds museums is located on the sixth floor of the Siam Discovery shopping center. Unlike its other branches, the Bangkok museum stands out because here you can not only take a close look at and touch the figures of celebrities, but also take a photo hugging your idol. Moreover, you will be given the appropriate props: for a picture with Elizabeth II, you can put on a sparkling crown and an ermine cape so as not to fade next to the queen's outfit, and for a photo with famous football players, try on a Liverpool shirt.
The museum is divided into 10 themed halls. In the science hall, you will find a figure of the shaggy-haired Albert Einstein against the backdrop of a blackboard with formulas. In the politics hall, President Barack Obama and his wife stand in a replica of part of the Oval Office, and even the view from the mock window seems real.
All the wax figures are remarkably lifelike and realistic; they say that in photographs hardly anyone can tell the copy from the real celebrity. After visiting the museum, you can calmly tell your friends that you happened to meet Cristiano Ronaldo, hurried past Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on the red carpet, or attended Vladimir Putin's press conference. The main thing is not to overdo it and not to imagine a personal meeting with Mahatma Gandhi or Princess Diana, who are located in the hall of historical figures.
