Bukit Bintang is considered the main shopping district of Kuala Lumpur. It is located in the so-called "Golden Triangle," where all the city's most expensive hotels, boutiques, restaurants, and clubs are found. This district can be compared to 5th Avenue in New York - just as noisy, attractive, and expensive.
Bukit Bintang includes three main streets, where all the most popular venues are concentrated, including a whole string of shopping complexes, such as Bukit Bintang Plaza, Sungai Wang Plaza, Berjaya Times Square, and others.
However, it is worth noting that nightlife in Kuala Lumpur is not very active. After sunset, the city gradually begins to empty out. Shops close as early as 20:00, and restaurants are mostly open until 22:00. Of course, this does not apply to clubs, but if you are not a fan of loud modern music, you are unlikely to appreciate all their advantages.
But during the day, it is always crowded here, with souvenirs as well as fashionable clothes and shoes being sold all around. Some come here for the latest cosmetics, while others look for electronics, tableware, or accessories. Everyone leaves satisfied, because at Bukit Bintang you can find goods to suit every taste, color, and budget.
