The butterfly park is located within the so-called Lake Gardens in Kuala Lumpur. Once there, at first it feels rather unusual to move around because of the stretched nets separating the butterflies from the outside world. But some inconveniences are quickly forgotten under the impression of the exotic surroundings.
The park where these winged beauties live cannot boast a huge area; rather, it can be described as cozy and intimate mini-jungle. However, this is exactly what makes it possible to have close, direct contact with the butterflies: they often land on your hands, clothes, head...
In total, about 20-30 species of butterflies live here, many of which are simply huge and incredibly beautiful. Azure blue, orange, blue-black, violet - their variety of colors is mesmerizing!
Besides butterflies, the park has small ponds with Chinese carp and catfish, a couple of cages with pythons, rabbits, and lizards.
