On Sentosa Island in Singapore there is an amazing Butterfly and Insect Park. An extremely fascinating place for leisure and exploration! This park attracts naturalists and ordinary lovers of beautiful insects from all over the world like a magnet.
There is plenty to see here – the enormous collection includes 3000 species, and besides insects, more than 7000 various exotic birds live here.
There are actually about 300 species of butterflies here, but that is not so few as it may seem at first glance. You can easily spend an entire day admiring the dazzling variety of these fragile creatures. It is very easy to lose track of time here, because everything is so interesting! You cannot even imagine what amazing sights await you: a tiny universe of fireflies shimmering in the dark, hunting for stick insects, giant spiders and beetles, and for the bravest there is instruction on handling poisonous scorpions.
As you stroll through the park, you will feel as if you are in a real jungle: tropical vegetation flourishes everywhere, birdsong can be heard, and the sounds of wild nature surround you. The park tour program is very engaging for both young visitors and adults.
