In 2005, Gregg and Jane Sedwick opened a small shop in one of the departments of Dubai Mall, where they decided to sell various art items for the home and office: works by local and foreign photographers, paintings, souvenirs, decorative interior items, and office supplies. They came up with a concise but fairly expressive name – Gallery One.
Gradually, from a simple retail outlet with an area of 32 sq. m, thanks to the ambition and persistence of its creators, the shop turned into the largest photography and fine art gallery in the Middle East.
At present, Gallery One is represented by ten branded stores in four countries around the world. Gregg and Jane's plans for 2015 include increasing the number of local gallery stores to 100 across three continents.
