The magnificent aquarium of the Atlantis The Palm hotel is an exhibition dedicated to the mysterious Atlantis.
It all began when, during the construction of the hotel, underwater work was carried out in the adjacent area, during which divers discovered several large fragments of marble structures. The age of the finds could not be determined, nor, for that matter, their origin. The only thing known for certain is that these marble remains of mysterious buildings are at least several thousand years old.
These finds became the basis for the themed aquarium called “Lost Chambers” or “The Lost Chambers“. In the depths of the dark waters, among schools of seahorses and colorful tropical fish, you can see mosaic columns, the armor of the ancient inhabitants of Atlantis, and exotic underwater plants.
65 thousand inhabitants populate the underwater world of “Lost Chambers” and readily swim up to the glass walls to interact with visitors.
There are various excursions and shows here, including some quite extreme ones.
Sitting on the oriental sofas in the aquarium lobby, you can watch the aquatheater show, performed behind the glass by diver-actors surrounded by curious fish.
If you know how to scuba dive, you can take part in feeding huge electric rays or interact with the aquatheater actors, who will show you interesting tricks from their performance.
