1. Olympic Park, located on the Black Sea coast, stayed in the spotlight of the world's media for almost a month. Missed the competitions? No problem – while the venues have not yet been dispersed to different cities across the country, you still have a chance to see the stadiums and arenas that brought our athletes dozens of medals of every kind.

2. Krasnaya Polyana. A key venue of the 2014 Winter Olympics, this is a major ski center set amid very picturesque scenery. In summer, it is a great place for mountain hiking.

3. Rosa Khutor. “Just like Europe!” – that is now the description most often given to this little village, which by the 2014 Olympics had gained a picturesque promenade, five-star hotels, and luxurious boutiques.

4. Dendrarium – one of the largest and most beautiful botanical gardens in the country. More than 1,600 species of plants from different continents are gathered across its 50 hectares, including large collections of oaks, pines, and palms.

5. Sochi Discovery World Aquarium in Adler is the largest aquarium in Russia. More than 4,000 fish live here! The 44-meter tunnel creates the illusion of walking along the seabed.

6. Mount Akhun rises 663 meters high and stands 3 kilometers from the sea. At the highest point of the five-kilometer ridge there is a 30-meter tower offering a breathtaking view.

7. Riviera Park. Sochi's largest amusement park. During the day you can escape the heat here, and in the evening have a great time on the rides.

8. Sochi History Museum tells the story of the city and the entire Black Sea coast from ancient times to the present day. The collection includes more than 4,000 unique exhibits.

9. Yew-and-Boxwood Grove of extraordinary beauty lies in the Khosta district of the city, on the slope of Mount Akhun. Relict plants have been preserved here almost unchanged since prehistoric times.

10. Tea Plantations in the area around Sochi are the northernmost in the world. In cozy little houses you can enjoy a traditional Russian tea service with honey, jam, and pies. As a bonus, beautiful views await outside the window.
