In the village of Kabardinka, not far from Gelendzhik, there is a quiet and picturesque place - Kastalskaya Kupel. This heavenly corner is located amid a juniper nature reserve, and besides aesthetic and gastronomic pleasure, you will get a session of aromatherapy with the healing air of a relict juniper grove.
In the past, this gorge at the foot of the mountain ridge was an abandoned and littered place where locals held picnics with shashlik. But one day a man was found who improved the gorge, removed heaps of garbage, dammed a small river, and created a wonderful and well-kept park with a fish lake here.
Kastalskaya Kupel is a trout farm. In the large pond, schools of rainbow trout and sturgeon swim here. Anyone who wishes can take a fishing rod and bait from the staff and catch a few fish, which will be cooked for you right here, in the local restaurant.
After enjoying a delicious lunch of trout caught with your own hands, set off for a walk through the beautiful park around the lake. Well-kept flower beds, emerald hedges of whimsical shapes, and old sprawling trees surround neat paths with wooden gazebos and garden sculptures. Against this backdrop, the wheel of a watermill and a house resembling a miniature medieval castle look especially charming.
